And the UK’s answer to tepid growth - to look re-attach itself in parts to the nearest peer, also with tepid - the EU. Can’t make this stuff up.

Access to the single market would be unlikely to hurt growth and Calais is a lot closer to Blighty than Asia, Paul!

Yeah, Rupert but i hate this fixation the UK has with Europe. It's a zombie continent economically with no future in the medium term. we should be looking to Nth America for out economic future.
